To get started with mobile banking contact your local branch and tell them you are interested in this complimentary service. They will verify your identity and provide you with log-in credentials for the mobile app. From your mobile device, go to the App Store where you typically download apps. Search for “The Southern Bank Company” and look for the image of our logo. Download the app, enter your username and password as given to you by your local branch.
The mobile banking app allows you the flexibility to choose which accounts you want to see. You can control which accounts are visible and not visible on the mobile app by changing the settings of your account. From your computer, log into your account, click Options and selecting Mobile Settings. Your accounts will be listed there and you can check each account you would like to see for mobile banking.
Remote deposit allows you to deposit checks from the convenience of your smartphone. From the mobile banking app, you can choose to make a deposit. You’ll take a photo of the front and back of the check, as well as enter the amount for deposit.
